In 2016, there were over 3,200,000 cases of accidents at work in the European Union only, of which more than 3,500 were fatal.

The growing needs in the field of occupational safety require an automatic alarm system for communicating accidents and/or assaults to the personnel, especially when working alone.

The app N.O.R.A. responds in a transversal way to these needs. Through a smartwatch it can constantly detect the user’s movements in a non-intrusive way. Its algorithm translates these movements into data and determines its range, thus being able to recognize when they are due to normal movements or to injuries.

The base of N.O.R.A. is the continuous interaction between smartwatch and smartphone. The smartphone allows the system to keep a constant connection with the Operations Center and, if it detects a dangerous situation, automatically sends a geolocalized alarm that allows the fast intervention by the rescue teams.

The smartwatch is a safe and practical device that allows the constant detection of the alarm parameters, without cluttering and preventing the user’s movements.
It is provided with an accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, RH and brightness sensor.
The display dimensions are available in two variants: 1.2″ and 1.3″.

The smartphone allows triggering and executing N.O.R.A.
Through the 4G/LTE connection, the smartphone can constantly exchange information with the Control Room, as well as send text messages to the emergency list.
